Summary: "BAM!"

It was written 100 years ago, so the termonology is dated, however it is still very easy to understand even for us Americanas. You aren't going to be "spoon fed", or offered blank spaces in the book to write your goals down, no tapping, no meditation - thankfully it's not a modern self help book.

W.D.W. presents to us the science of getting rich in the most practical way possible: .."There is a science to getting rich and it is an exact science"...he will explain how, and if you do exactly what this book says you will get rich with mathematical certainty. I speak from experience. Need I say more?

Summary: "The Original Classics with an Insightful Introduction!"

The Science of Getting Rich and The Science of Being Great are of my favorite personal development books. Wallace Wattles' words are profoundly spot on! Many others agree. As one reads Wattles' words, they can hear the voices of several prominent self-help gurus quoting his philosophies.

These books from the early 1900's are of the clearest an most concise truths I have ever read on the subjects. If you want to get to the source of The Secret and other law of attraction type teaching, and get to the heart of what it takes to become "great", I suggest you begin with this collection. But you will receive much more. His philosophy is at the essence of how we can attain real fulfillment and inner-peace doing what we love.

This book contains the original text from Wattles, so you will be getting his full and undiluted message.

Tom Butler-Bowdon's introduction is also spot on. He seems to have Wattles' philosophy in his bones. Because of Bowdon's vast experience with self-development books (see all his "Classics" books), he effectively summarizes and accents many of Wattles' important key points, setting up the reader for what they are about to receive.

From Bowdon's introduction, "...this is the strange paradox of the Science of Getting Rich: it was written by a socialist. Yet perhaps his blend of socialist vision and money-making is not so incongruent after all. Summary: "Law of Attraction Masterpiece"

A lot of useful financial advice. Good tips to follow on a daily basis, and good focus on the long run. I can see how it is an influence on The Secret. It seems that one of the most common mistakes people make is working hard at things that do not pay off for the time invested. This book does a great job at addressing this issue and showing how to make work pay off better.

The wisdom throughout the pages is invaluable.
Reading some of the lower ratings, I can only assume
those people were not ready to receive the
message. Wattles has a magical talent for delivering this
information as clear and concise as a church bell.
His book is the foudation to all other books of it's kind.
Truely a blessing to man kind.
